JVC has released three Everio seires camcorders for Japan market. They are Victor JVC Everio GZ-MG980, GZ-MS230, and GZ-MS210, priced at USD690, USD515 and USD460 respectively.
The JVC Everio GZ-MG980 is equiped with a 10.7 megapixel, a 1.6-inch CCD sensor with 720×480 pixel resolution, 39x optical zoom (F1.8-4.3), and 800x digital zoom. Other features includes a 2.7-inch wide LCD display (16:9), an 80GB HDD, a slot for SD/SDHC, and an USB port. Its dimensions are 53×63x115 mm (WxHxD) and weight 290g (battery included).
The JVC Everio GZ-MS230 is similar with GZ-MG980, but it has 8GB internal memory. The JVC Everio GZ-MS210 is basically same specification but without internal memory, just has dual SD/SDHC slot.
